Deafness, Pain and Noises in the Ear, are often produced by the mere accumulation of wax in the ear.
It will generally suffice to clear out the passage by syringing. A large syringe and plenty of water should be used. If not relieved in this way, the application of repeated mustard plasters behind the ears will have a good effect.
