Flame or Philadelphia Lily.
Lilium philadelphicum. Lily Family. June - July.
Found in dry, sandy soil, woodland borders. New England to North Carolina, west to Minnesota and Missouri.
Orange or reddish orange, spotted inside with purplish brown; 1 - 3 borne erect at the summit of stem 1-3 feet high.
In whorls of 3 - 8.
