The usual violations in the sale of intoxicating liquors consist of the unlawful sale without a license; sales to minors without the written authority from their parents or guardian; sales to intoxicated persons, and to persons who are in the habit of getting intoxicated; and in selling to be drank upon the premises where sold.

In the absence of statutes regulating the sale of intoxicating liquors, it is not an offense to sell such liquors either at retail or wholesale.58
