Bribery is when a judge or other person concerned in the administration of justice takes any-undue reward to influence his behavior in office.1

Bribery is the taking or offering a reward to influence the official conduct of a judge or other person concerned in the administration of justice.2

The giving, offering or causing to be given or offered, any money, property or value of any kind, or any agreement therefor, to any judicial,3 legislative or executive officer,4 or the acceptance of the same by any such officer, is bribery.5

Under the constitution of Illinois, bribery is an infamous offense.6

But under the common law it is a misdemeanor only.7
