No license shall be issued for the purpose of keeping a saloon or dram shop in connection with a candy store, ice cream parlor, fruit store or bakery; nor shall intoxicating liquors be sold in any such place.
Amend. III to R. M. C. sec. 1338.
No person, firm or corporation shall produce, sell or give away or have in his or its possession for the purpose of selling, etc., any candy or other confectionery which contains any kind of intoxicating liquors or which contains any substance that imparts to such confectionery color, flavor or aroma, unless such substance is wholly a vegetable product and is not injurious to health.
The health department shall inspect all candy stores in the city, and cause the arrest of persons violating this ordinance.
Penalty for violation: Fine from $10 to $200 for each offense.
