This section is from the "Encyclopedia Of Practical Receipts And Processes" book, by William B. Dick. Also available from Amazon: Dick's encyclopedia of practical receipts and processes.
When searching for anything contained in this book, always refer to the Index, noting the directions given on page 565.
The Receipts are classified, as far as practicable, under the headings to which they belong; some of them, however, are applicable to several subjects, but are inserted, to avoid repetition, under one only. The figures in the Index refer to the number of the Receipt, not the page number.
