The so called common cold need not be the "common cold". This statement is directed to those people who are careful of their diet but still play unwilling hosts to one or more colds a year; it does not refer to those whose daily menu includes pop, candy, cakes and excessive starches.

I speak from experience for I was periodically a victim of the most miserable type of head colds. Characteristically they included swollen eyes, running nose and throat, accompanied by a day or two of violent vomiting. Now, I can cheerfully think of these bouts of misery as periods of the dim past for I have not suffered with a cold since I learned to utilize the power of polarizing to fight viruses and bacteria.

However, it is wise to cross our fingers in case we unfortunately fall prey to a virus at a time when the magnetic field is disturbed and polarizing cannot be used; a period when our magnetic defences are down. It is a situation beyond our control but under normal circumstances colds can be simply annihilated provided they are attacked at the time of their first symptoms; before the foreign virus have taken control within the cells of the body to create more virus of their own kind and destroy masses of body cells. Polarizing does not restore dead cells, it only helps the healthy to overcome attack by the virus.

A chemist recently made the comment to me, "The first person who discovers a cure for colds will become a multimillionaire". I was silent but thought how ignorant and pathetic the human race has become to accept as a part of life the miseries of colds and the complications that result, always hopeful of a day the cure will be found in a prescription bottle.

On several occasions we have mentioned the lymph glands losing their normal pattern of magnetic energies during illness. By observation we have found the magnetic pattern, of the lymph glands on one side of the body, is vague and wandering when the cold is gathering momentum. When the glands are repolarized the body is able to combat the illness which diminishes rapidly in severity and soon disappears. There is a definite correlation between the correct magnetic pattern of the lymph glands and the recession of the cold. With a virulent cold the repolarized glands often lose their correct pattern. In such cases it is necessary to polarize again about three hours after the initial treatment. However, if the cold is caught at its inception, the pattern will generally remain correct and further polarizing is not required. Usually one of the two lymph glands situated on either side of the thyroid group is among the glands affected by the virus.

To combat the cold virus we concentrate the direction of energy wave flow to the respiratory canals and the throat by specific polarizing. Despite the danger of being monotonous I will detail the specific polarizing technique to be performed by the victim so he can control the virus through his own energies.

(1) Attack the virus by polarizing at the earliest symptoms of a cold.

(2) Mark the direction of your channel with tape as described in Chapter 4.

(3) Start polarizing by facing into your channel; stand with spine erect, head level, eyes shut, feet apart, hands held down by the sides. Never hold wires while polarizing.

Breathe three or four times as deeply as possible, stretching and depressing your lungs to their limit and pass the air through the nostrils. Swallow your saliva three or four times because the movement of the muscles involved will direct the magnetic wave flow to the throat glands. Remain for a period of some four seconds without moving.

(4) Turn clockwise, some 90 degrees, which now puts your shoulders in line with the direction of your channel. Repeat the routine as described in (3) above.

(5) Turn clockwise, another 90 degrees, which now puts you in a position with your back to your Vivaxis. Repeat the routine as described in (3) above.

(6) Turn clockwise a further 90 degrees, which places you in a position opposite to that of (4) above. Repeat the routine as described in (3).

(7) Stay in isolation for at least one half hour after polarizing. This is a period when your own atoms align themselves into a strong pattern and it is important there is no interference from other people to weaken the strength of the pattern. After about five minutes exercise moderately.

If the first polarizing does not seem sufficient, repeat in about three hours time, but it is recommended not to carry out more than three polarizings spaced at three hour intervals.
