Height. Par. 1. - No building, structure or part thereof shall be of a height exceeding two and one half times the width of the widest street on which the building or structure stands, whether such street is a public street or place or a private way, nor exceeding one hundred and twenty-five feet in any case. The width of such street, place or private way shall be measured from the face of the building or structure to the line of the street on the other side. If the street is of uneven width, the width shall be the average width of the part of the street opposite the building or structure; if the effective width of the street is increased by an area or setback, the space between the face of the main building and the lawfully established line of the street may be built upon to the height of two and one half times the width of the street.
Par. 2. - All buildings or structures hereafter erected in any part of the city shall be subject to the restrictions imposed by chapter 452 of the acts of the year 1898, by chapter 543 of the acts of the year 1902, by chapter 383 of the acts of the year 1905, and by chapter 416 of the acts of the year 1907, so far as the restrictions imposed by said acts relate to the districts described therein; and shall also be subject to any restrictions lawfully imposed by the park commissioners of said city.
