Senna, 2 troyounces.
Jalap, 1 troyounce.
Coriander, 1/2 troyounce.
Diluted alcohol, 3 1/2 pints.
Reduce the drugs to a coarse powder, and macerate this in the diluted alcohol for fourteen days, stirring the mixture thoroughly each day, then filter. (Edinburgh New Dispensatory, 1818.)
