178. Lettsom's Elixir
Opium, 6 drachms.
Castile soap, 6 drachms.
Nutmeg, 1 drachm.
Camphor, 4 drachms.
Saffron, 40 grains
Spirit of ammonia, 9 fluidounces.
Mix and reduce the drugs to a coarse powder, and macerate this in the spirit of ammonia for ten days, stirring the mixture thoroughly each day, then filter.Augustin.
