Inject into the naevus repeatedly.
- Prof. Lister. 8902. Scarify the affected skin with a series of short incisions, about one-sixteenth of an inch apart, to the depth of nearly dividing the cutis vera. Interpose a piece of white blotting paper and exercise gentle pressure with the finger for about ten minutes. This checks the bleeding. In a fortnight the surface is healed. If necessary the operation may be repeated.

Take a cork the size of the tumor, into -which insert several fine needles, letting the points project one-eight of an inch. Immerse the points of the needles in pure cioton oil and plunge them into the tumor.
