Oleum Terebinthinae.
Oil of Turpentine. C10H16.
The oil distilled from the oleo-resin (Turpentine) obtained from several species of Pinus.
Re-distil slowly over a water-bath.
Characters. - Limpid, colourless, pungent, with a strong peculiar but well-known odour, and pungent and bitter taste.
Preparation. - Solution in rectified spirit.
