Nat. ord., Cruciferae. Synonym. - Armoracia rusticana. Horse Radish.
Characters. - A long, cylindrical, fleshy root, half ah inch to 1 inch in diameter, expanding at the crown into several very short stems. It is internally white, and has a pungent taste and smell.
A fragmentary proving appeared in Marcy and Peters.
Part employed. - The root.
Preparation. - Tincture (proof spirit).
