This is best distinguished by scales appearing on the elbows and knees, which creep from thence gradually all over the body; though other obstinate scabby eruptions are sometimes distinguished by this name, especially if they are scaly: the cure is the same as in the stubborn itch, only it generally requires a longer time, and a careful observation of a proper diet.
