Fatty Degeneration Of The Renal Epithelium is not infrequently present in cachectic conditions such as advanced phthisis pulmonalis, in which, however, it is often associated with amyloid disease or interstitial nephritis. In severe anaemias it is also met with along with fatty degeneration of the muscular substance of the heart. It occurs, too, in acute yellow atrophy of the liver.
