The Ampelopsis is easily propagated by seeds sown in Spring one eighth of an inch deep in a cool frame, or by cuttings of ripe wood placed in the open ground in sandy soil in September.

Ampelopsis quinquefolia (the Virginia-creeper) and Ampelopsis tricuspidata (the Boston Ivy) are the most useful.
