Houses for the culture of foreign grapes, were once among the most popular of adjuncts to an amateur's garden; but the ease with which they can be had from out-door culture in California, and from other sources, has operated against their increase of late years. This is unfortunate for those who like a good thing, for certainly most of those bought in market bear no comparison in quality to the best productions of glass culture. Possibly there have been more put up than we are aware of, and we should be glad to know from our correspondents of any good graperies that have been put up in their vicinity during the past three years.
