The ninth annual meeting was held at Chicago the second week in June, under the Presidency of Mr. M. A. Hunt, and D. Wilmot Scott as Secretary. The attendance was greater than at any former meeting, and the belief is gaining ground that the association is doing much to elevate the trade in public estimation. The essays read had relation chiefly to business, and the one by Mr. Henderson, on advertising, receives commendation from many quarters. Mr. Sanders, of Chicago, is elected President for next year, and the meeting will again be held in Chicago.
