The celebrated nurseries of Luccombe, Pince & Co., of Exeter, England, have recently been sold at public sale. The apple trees ■ are regarded as having been sold low, - at an average price of 75 shillings a hundred. People often have an idea that trees are much higher in American nurseries than in English ones, - but our nurserymen would think themselves in "clover" if they could get an average price of $20 per hundred at a public sale.
