Found in rich woods. New Brunswick to Minnesota, south to North Carolina.

Flowers

Greenish white, clustered at the end of stalk 4 - 15 inches high.

Leaves

Two or three leaves 8 - 10 inches long, which wither before the flowers bloom, arise from a pointed bulb; strongly onion scented.
