Flowers

Magenta, 5 divisions, the narrow lobes of the outer divisions exceeding the inner ones in length; solitary, terminating stems 1 - 3 feet high.

Leaves

Opposite, seated on stem, long, narrow, erect. Plant stem covered with fine, silky hairs.
