Blue-Eyed Grass
Eye-bright: Blue Star. Sisyrinchium angustifolium.
Iris Family. May - July.
Found in moist fields, meadows. Newfound, land to the far West, southward to Virginia.
Flowers
Deep violet-blue with a yellow center, the 6 divisions tipped with a point; flowers borne erect on flat stems 6 - 14 inches high.
Leaves
Grass-like.
