Family, Convolvulus. Color, red. Leaves, pinnately dissected into thread-like, parallel lobes. Corolla, long, tubular, with a 5-parted, spreading border, one or two together, on long peduncles. June to October.

A twining vine, formerly more cultivated than now, the delicate stems twining around cords which were fastened to a ring at the top. Occasionally found wild in the South.
