Question 479. - May one under age be lawfully appointed the attorney of a merchant to conduct his bank account?

Answer. - Yes; the fact that he is under age does not disqualify him.

Note. - In the Province of Quebec only those minors who have become emancipated may act as attorneys (C. C. Art. 1707). Emancipation takes place (a) by marriage, or (b) by authorization of Court (C. C. Arts. 314, 315).
