Rule. Multiply the length of the arc DGE by its radius DC, and half the product is the area.
The length of the arc DGE equal 9½ feet, and the radii CD, CE, equal 7 feet required the area.
9.5x7 = 66.5 ÷ 2 = 33.25 the area.
