Figs. 1, 2, and 3 show a tea-table trestle with four legs, and Figs. 4, 5, and 6 one with three legs. Fig. 7 shows the joint most suitable for connecting the legs to the top beam. These joints may be fastened with nails, but a stronger method is to glue and screw them together. The leading dimensions and sizes suitable for ordinary purposes are shown; these, of course, may be varied to suit circumstances.
