For painting concrete, four or five coats of paint should be applied, the first and second coats of white lead well thinned with oil, and the later coats mixed with equal quantities of turpentine and oil. Every coat must be allowed to dry before the next is laid on; on no account should the concrete be painted before it is quite dry.
