Fig. 1 shows a front elevation and Fig. 2 a side elevation. It is 2ft. long and 17iu. wide, and is fastened to the wall by four mirror plates, one at each corner. The four shelves are let into the ends about ^iu. by sawing two gates and cutting out with a narrow chisel. The doors have imitation panels made by mitreing strips, chamfered at the edges, of a plain door lin. by 1/4in. The piece sawn out. of the top is fastened to the edge of the top shelf. The bottom shelf is rounded at the corners to bring it to the width of the end, as it is narrow where the bottom shelf goes. The ends are of s-in. wood, the shelves of 3/8-in. wood, doors of 1/4-in. or 3/8-in., and the back of 3/8-in. wood. A button on the partition will do instead of locks.
