To clean the skin of a badger, place the latter hair upwards upon the table and procure a basin of warm water, soap, sponge, and towel. Now proceed to wash the head, using no more water than necessary; do not allow water to get upon the under side. Then suck up all the water the sponge will take, and finish the drying with the cloth or towel. If this fails the skin is probably stained, and may require bleaching.
