To make a glaze for finishing furniture dissolve 8oz. of best gum benzoin in 1pt. of methylated spirit: keep it warm and frequently shake till dissolved. Carefully strain and store- away, tightly corked; it improves by keeping. This glaze imparls a final brightness in place of spiriting out,hut has no body for polishing purposes.
