Figs. 1 to 5 show the construction of a doll's bedstead. The size will vary according to requirements; any kind of wood may be used. The posts and rails can be .jointed by stub tenons and mortises as shown at Fig. 4, then glued together; they may also be further secured by round-headed screws. The head- and footboards may be housed into the posts a little distance as shown at Fig. 5. This design, carried out on a larger scale, would make a neat little bedstead for a child.

Fig. 1 is a general view, Fig. 2 a side elevation, and Fig. 3 is an end elevation showing the head. Figs. 4 and 5 show joints, as has been said.
