Stand with your back against a wall, and drop a handkerchief at your feet. Without bending your knees, try to pick it up.

Stand two feet from a wall, and facing it. Have a stool on the floor between you and the wall. (A book, box, or pillow can be used.) Now, pick up the object without bending your knees, and then try to get back to a straight position again.

Hold a stick-one end in each hand-and see if you can jump over it.

Kneel on the floor, fold your hands behind your back, then try to pick up a cracker-placed on the floor about 15 inches away-using your teeth, and lips, not any other part of your body.

Lie on your back on the floor

Lie on your back on the floor, fold your arms across your chest, and without using your hands or elbows, rise to a standing position.

Ring Toss

If you have four or five small, but heavy, paper plates, you can make a very good ring toss game. (A six inch plate is a good size.)

For a post, cut a hole about an inch wide in the middle of one of the plates, and tipping it bottom side up, stick a roll of stiff paper in the hole. This roll should be about eight inches long.

Ring TossCut the rims

Cut the rims from each of the other plates, and on each plate draw two circles as in illustration. Cut these out. You will have two rings. (See illustration.)

Now your game is ready to play. See how many times you can throw the rings over the post. First stand quite near it when you toss; then move a little farther away. Keep moving as you toss each one-to see how far from the post you can stand and still put on a ring.

Trace the objects on this page. Then close the book and take out your paints or crayons and color the pictures. When you have finished, turn the paper over and see how many of these objects you can remember.
