1. Construct outside rectangle.

2. Draw lines inside ¼" from the sides.

3. Measure off |" from each corner on each side of the outside rectangle.

4. Mark off 1" on the lines drawn inside, measuring from the outline.

5. Connect corresponding points (see drawing).

6. Draw small rectangle, defining place for the sandpaper.
