KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That I, Richard Roe, in consideration of $250 in hand to me paid by John Doe, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, have sold unto John Doe the following goods and chattels, to-wit: One horse and a set of harness. I hereby warrant that I have full title to said property, and that I will defend the said John Doe against any claim of any person or persons whatsoever.
