Emaciation, nose dry and hot, abdomen swollen and hard, eyes reddened and watery, skin dry and harsh, coat staring, the breath foul, thirst great, and appetite voracious. Bowels at times constipated the discharges clay-colored and offensive; occasionally diarrhoea exists.
