Depend on the mode of poisoning. In large doses, the usual symptoms are irritation, distress, and vomiting, colic, constipation, cramps, and paralysis.
Give epsom salts with milk and eggs freely.
In cases of poisoning, when the nature of the poison is unknown; - calcined magnesia,powdered charcoal, sesqui oxide of iron, equal parts of each in a sufficient quantity of water.
